Heemskerk – Kasteel Assumburg

The project area is designed to be a green recreational area with a local and regional function. Within the overall design the area is subdivided into three parts; a zone with large landscape unities, a nature and landscape zone, and a country estate zone.  Every zone differs in size, scale and ambiance. The unique characteristics of the zones can be experienced via several recreational pathways and compositions in the area.
