Zevenhuizen – Ringvaartpark
The Ringvaartpark was originally a green belt besides a dike that runs in a North/South direction along the village. Due to the requirements of the water-board district the dike was raised. All vegetation had to be removed. In the design, which was established after consultation, a new path structure emerged. In addition, many trees and shrubs have been planted. The decision was made to make use of a rich trees assortment, in which the blossoming and shapes were the starting point for the selection. The park creates the possibility to take a stroll in and around the village.
